The TOTL laptops were purchased with AppleCare Support.
By purchasing the AppleCare Protection Plan with your Mac, TOTL extended your coverage to three years from the computer’s purchase date. This is for both hardware failures and software support. For a complete description of services provided, review: AppleCare.
Education Customers dial 800-800-2775 and press option 3 for technical support.
Have the system serial number when calling for support.
If hardware repair is required, AppleCare will make arrangements get the unit shipped in and fixed ASAP.

What if a laptop’s software just gets “all messed up?”
We have implemented a system for you to easily clean off the hard drive of any working laptop, and rebuild it as it first came to you from LSU. Warning: following this procedure will wipe out all data on the laptop’s hard drive. Backup the student’s work before attempting this procedure. The “re-imaging” process is outlined here.
